New accommodation for visiting health students in Bourke has been funding by the Federal Government's Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training (RHMT) program. Almost half a million dollars was allocated for the four-bedroom student accommodation.  Federal Member for Parks & Minister for Regional Services, Mark Coulton, says the new accommodation will help attract health students to the area to work and train in the town.

"I am pleased to see this new accommodation for health students, and urge them to consider staying in the area and enjoying all the benefits of living, working and training here," said Mr Coulton.
